PNB SIF DECLARES 3.75 SEN INCOME DISTRIBUTION
KUALA LUMPUR : - Amanah Mutual Berhad (AMB), the Unit Trust Manager for PNB Structured Investment Fund (PNB SIF), has announced an annual gross income distribution of 3.75 sen per unit for the Fund for the financial year ended 31 July, 2010. This income distribution is equivalent to an income yield of 3.56% which is higher than the Fund’s benchmark, the 12-month Maybank fixed deposit rate. Since its launch on 12 May, 2008, the Fund has generated a total return of 12.38%. The Net Asset Value (NAV) per unit as at 30 July, 2010 was RM 1.0891 (prior to distribution) with 2.44 billion Units in Circulation (UIC).
The income distribution will involve total payment of approximately RM 92 million through cheques paid to the Fund’s unit holders registered as at 31 July, 2010.
The income distribution statements and distribution warrants will be sent to the unit holders no later than 30 September, 2010.
PNB SIF is a Mixed Asset fund with an investment objective of providing investment opportunities that generate reasonable returns and growth over the tenure of the Fund while providing capital protection to unit holders. The Fund’s maturity date is July, 2013.
AMB is a wholly owned subsidiary of Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad, while Permodalan Nasional Berhad is its ultimate holding company.
