Amanah Mutual Berhad ( AMB ) has declared a gross income distribution of 11.70 sen per unit for its AMB Ethical Trust Fund (AMBETF) and 8.50 sen per unit for its AMB Value Trust Fund (AMBVTF) for the financial year ended August 31, 2008.
The total income distribution for AMBETF and AMBVTF will involve payment of RM2.32 million and RM1.54 million respectively. It will be automatically reinvested into additional units of the respective funds to be deposited into the unit holders’ accounts for investors registered as at August 31, 2008.
The income distribution statement and the distribution warrants will be sent to the unit holders simultaneously no later than October 31, 2008.
Based on the Lipper and Morningstar rating from The Edge Malaysia dated August, 2008, both funds had achieved sterling performances. AMB ETF and AMB VTF were both rated “Lipper Leader” under categories of “Total Returns 3 year” and “Consistent Return 3 years”. AMB ETF and AMB VTF had recorded total return of 90% and 107.71% respectively over 5-year period.
